Effective immediately Born Again Technologies will no longer be accepting electronics to recycle. We have shut down our warehouse and Rutherford County has opened a recycling facility on Haley Road.

What is E-Waste and why should I care? |
|
E-waste is the term coined for unwanted electronics such as computers, VCR's, microwaves, fluorescent lighting, CFL's (compact fluorescent lighting), and other such items. Why does Born Again Technologies care about what happens to it and why should the general public? E-waste contains a lot of harmful chemicals that can damage our environment, our water supplies, cause harmful things to happen to our bodies, and take up unnecessary space in our local landfills which are rapidly increasing their size. |

Born Again Technologies is a community based organization that is like minded when it comes to technology and or environment. There is no paid staff, and each person generously donates their time and efforts in helping to keep Rutherford County (county seat is Murfreesboro, TN) and its surrounding areas safe from unwanted electronics (e-waste). |

WOW!!! It is hard to believe that Born Again Technologies is into its fifth year of service already. During the course of our existence we have properly diverted over 100,000 lbs of unwanted electronics from our local landfills. WAY TO GO RUTHERFORD COUNTY RESIDENTS (and a few others ;o) !!! |
